I love biscotti, delicious with a good cup of coffee! I stumbled upon Loretta Bianchi&#8217;s easy to make Italian Biscotti Recipe. Enjoy!</p>
<p>Ingredients</p>
<p>1/2 c. butter<br />
1 c. sugar<br />
3 Large eggs<br />
3 c. sifted flour<br />
3 teaspoon baking pwdr<br />
1/2 teaspoon salt<br />
1 teaspoon vanilla<br />
1 tbsp. anise seed, crushed<br />
2 tbsp. grated lemon rind<br />
2 tbsp. grated orange rind<br />
1 c. minced almonds or possibly walnuts</p>
<p>Directions</p>
<p>1. Cream butter and sugar. Add in Large eggs one at a time till fluffy. Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt. Stir into butter mix till thoroughly mixed. Add in remaining ingredients and stir.</p>
<p>2. Divide dough into 3 parts. Shape part into roll 1 1/2 inch diameter. Place on cookie sheet and flatten top slightly. Bake for 20 min. Remove from oven and cut into 3/4 inch slices. Return to oven, cut sides up and brown another 10-15 min. Cold on wire rack. Bake at 350 degrees. Makes 60 cookies.</p>
